WORLD TOURISM DAY

I love traveling. But now with very low budget for travel, I am contended to sit at home and watch the channel ‘Travel and living’. ‘1000 places to see before you die’ is my favorite program. Thought it looks only for the ‘Rich and the Famous’, no harm imagining and go where ever they take us!! An hour’s program takes me allover the world! Gone were the days, (still with little budge got the money’s worth satisfaction in India) visiting the lovely beaches of Goa, the Konkan coast, the famous ruins of Humpi, the forest resorts of Mudumali, Nagarhole, Ranthmpore, Dandeli, Jim Corbet National Park. The temple towns of Madurai, Chennai, Halebeed, Belure, cave temples of Ajantha and Ellora, Thanjavour, Tirupati. Chardham in Himalayas. The back waters of Kerala, (God’s own country!). In India, every 300 Km one can notice changes in food habits and geography as well culture. This has been fascinating to many foreigners and Indian’s as well! (The first word of the places clicked in Google will provide all the details!)

I have not given up traveling. Once in 15 days, I make sure to take the refreshing one-day’s trip in and around Pune.
